Application
The high performance luminaire is designed for applications where long life, low maintenance, and consistent color rendering is required. Areas with limited accessibility due to fixture location or where heavy pedestrian or vehicle traffic makes maintenance difficult are ideal applications. It is also compact and versatile enough for general purpose security lighting. The traditional design style of the luminaire allows it to be seemlessly integrated into existing systems if necessary.
Construction
The housing is made of compression molded fiber reinforced polyester composite. The color impregnated SR2 composite will not flake or peal. The LED light source is housed within a zinc LED body with heat dissipating fins. An anti-siphon chamber is molded into the housing to keep internal electrical components from coming into contact with ground water. Multiple ring/guard assemblies are available for a customized finish.
Optical System
The light source is offered with 15° spot, 60° flood, and 120° wide flood optical assemblies. It is mounted on an adjustable yoke that allows it to turn 360 degrees and tilt in any direction. Convex and walk over lenses are both available.
Electrical System
2700K-6000K tunable color termperature range. Very high color rendering (Ra and R9) over the tunable range. Constant voltage input LED. Unique “Copy and Paste” function for fixture-to-fixture consistency. Calibration mode for color maintenance. Wireless control for dimming and CCT using the Light Commissioning Tool. Maximum 38W operation. Fixture will produce approximately 800-1200 lumens depending on operation settings.
Mounting
The LED Burial Light is an in-ground fixture and should be installed with back fill according to the Techlight TDB installation instructions. A ¾” conduit entry is supplied into the anti-siphon chamber of the housing. The LED Transformer enclosure can be mounted directly to a flat surface or via tree standoffs.
